Mission to the EU

The Embassy is a mission to the EU as well as being a bilateral embassy to Belgium, Luxembourg, Liechtenstein and Marocco. Due to the EEA Agreement and the Schengen Convention the majority of its activities concern this role. Most of the Icelandic ministries have a Counsellor at the Embassy to focus on policy areas involved.
