Martin Santander: Opening of an exhibition of photographic works from Iceland, 14th of December 2006

11.12.2006

The photographic works shown at the Iselp by Martin Santander are the outcome of three trips to Iceland, and are "a meditative dive into the heart of the island’s contrasts".

Martin Santander was born in Argentina in 1964, and spent part of his childhood there, before moving to Belgium. He lived in Mexico and Guadeloupe and following his photography studies in Brussels, settledthere as an independent photographer.

According to the author the exhibition "... is a tribute to a country, its elements but above all its people, whose warmth and gentleness is revealed to us through the photographer".
