About the Mission
The Permanent Mission of Iceland in Geneva opened on 1 March 1970 on the occasion of Iceland’s accession to the European Free Trade Association (EFTA).
The Permanent Mission represents Iceland vis a vis EFTA, the World Trade Organisation (WTO), the United Nations Office and agencies, as well as other international organisations located in Geneva.
Furthermore the Mission serves as Embassy of Iceland to Liechtenstein.
