Iceland increases contribution to UNRWA
UNRWA is a relief and human development agency, providing education, healthcare, social services and emergency aid to approximately 4,3 million Palestinian refugees living in the Gaza Strip, the West Bank, Jordan, Lebanon and Syria. It was established by the United Nations General Assembly under resolution 302 (IV) of 8 December 1949.
