Launch of Permanent Mission's website
The website of the new Permanent Mission of Iceland in Rome (www.iceland.org/it) was launched on September 28. The website contains practical information on the Permanent Mission and its work. The Mission is accredited to the three United Nations Agencies in Rome; the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO), the World Food programme (WFP) and the International Fund for Agricultural Development (IFAD). The website also has brief outlines of Icelandic relations to these three Agencies, as well as practical links to several organizations dealing with related issues. Furthermore the website contains a wealth of information on Iceland, its nature, society and people, and links to hundres of related websites.
