Iceland's economy has throughout the year received a great deal of attention from around the world because of the robust growth within the economy in recent years. International comparison amongst OECD countries show very strong performance in the Icelandic economy with average growth rates exceeding average growth rates in the OCED, with very low unemployment figures or 1% according to latest figures.
