Sustainable Iceland Receives Rammy Award
Baldvin Jónsson, CEO of Sustainable Iceland, received the Restaurant Association of the Metropolitan of Washington (RAMW) 2007 Associate Member of the Year Award at their Silver Anniversary Gala dinner hosted June 17.
Sustainable Iceland is a company dedicated to the promotion of Iceland’s sustainable and natural agricultural products. Baldvin Jónsson has been integral in building relationships with local chefs and supporting the restaurant community by hosting industry events and educational chef trips to Iceland. In last year’s Rammy Awards Icelandic delicatessens played the major role at the ceremony.
Sustainable Iceland’s efforts in supporting restaurants in the metropolitan area are duly recognized with the 2007 RAMW Associate Member of the Year award.
