Embassy's Jurisdiction
The Embassy represents Iceland in South Africa, as well as Angola, Benin, Botswana, Ethiopia, Ghana, Kenya, Lesotho, Malawi, Mali, Mozambique, Namibia, Senegal, Swaziland, Tanzania, Uganda and Zambia. The Embassy's mission is to safeguard Icelandic interests and further develop good relations with the respective states.
The country offices of the Icelandic International Development Agency, ICEIDA, in Malawi, Mozambique, Namibia and Uganda have the status of embassies reporting on diplomatic issues to the Ambassador in Pretoria.
