The decree notes that the Embassy of Iceland in Pretoria now serves (in addition to South Africa) Angola, Benin, Botwana, Ethiopia, Ghana, Kenya, Lesotho, Mali, Senegal, Swaziland, Tanzania and Zambia. While Icelandic embassies are maintained in Malawi, Mozambique, Namibia and Uganda, they are headed by chargés d'affaires who report on matters of international diplomacy to the Pretoria embassy.
