Ambassador of Iceland hosts a reception for OECD Workshop
The Ambassador of Iceland, H.E. Dr Sigridur Duna Kristmundsdottir, hosted a reception at the Michelangelo Hotel Johannesburg on 9 June 2008 for the 2nd OECD Regional Workshop on African Debt Management and Bond Markets.
The Workshop was sponsored by the Ministry for Foreign Affairs in Iceland, the National Treasury of South Africa and the Bond Exchange of South Africa Limited.
The participants in the workshop, between 70-80 people, came from various countries, although mainly from the African Continent. Many attended the opening Reception held on the first evening. The Ambassador gave a speech as well as Mr. Phakamani Hadebe from the National Treasury of South Africa.
Sendiherra Íslands heldur móttöku fyrir OECD fund
Ţann 9. júní 2008 hélt sendiherra Íslands, Dr. Sigríđur Dúna Kristmundsdóttir, móttöku á Michelangelo hótelinu í Jóhannesarborg fyrir ţátttakendur á öđrum svćđisfundi OECD um skuldastjórnun og fjármálamarkađi í Afríku.
Fundurinn sem var haldinn 9.-11. júní í Jóhannesarborg var styrktur af Utanríkisráđuneyti Íslands, Fjármálaráđuneyti Suđur Afríku og “Bond Exchange of South Africa Limited”.
Ţáttakendur fundarins, sem voru á milli 70-80, komu víđsvegar ađ, en meirihluti ţeirra kom ţó frá hinum ýmsu Afríkuríkjum. Margir voru viđstaddir móttökuna ţetta fyrsta kvöld fundarins. Sendiherra ávarpađi samkomuna ásamt Phakamani Hadebe frá Fjármálaráđuneyti Suđur Afríku.
